You Are Stronger Than You Think

You might feel weak this morning. Tired. Like you don’t have what it takes. But your strength doesn’t come from you—it comes from Christ.

Word for Today: Christ Is Your Strength

Today’s Scripture: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13 (ESV)

    Today’s Devotional:

You might feel weak this morning. Tired. Like you don’t have what it takes.

But I need you to hear this: you are stronger than you think—because your strength doesn’t come from you.

Philippians 4:13 is one of the most quoted verses in the Bible. People put it on gym walls and tattoo it on their arms. But it’s not about bench pressing more weight or crushing your goals through willpower.

Look at the verse again: “I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.”

It’s not about what you can do. It’s about what He can do through you.

The Apostle Paul wrote these words from a prison cell. He wasn’t living his best life. He was cold, hungry, and in chains. Yet he said, “I’ve learned to be content in every situation—because Christ gives me strength.”

That’s the secret. When you’re running on empty, Christ fills you up. When you’ve hit your limit, His power kicks in. When you can’t take another step, He carries you.

You don’t have to be strong enough. You just have to be connected to the One who is.

Today, stop trying to do it all in your own strength. Invite Jesus into your struggle. Let Him be your energy, your courage, your peace.

You can face whatever’s in front of you—not because you’re superhuman, but because the God of the universe is fighting for you.

Be encouraged. You’ve got more in you than you realize.

    Prayer for Today:

Lord, I’m tired of trying to do this on my own. I need Your strength today. Fill me with Your power. Help me remember that I don’t have to carry it all—You’re carrying me. I can do all things through You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Reflect: Where have you been relying on your own strength instead of God’s?
